A very warm welcome!

I’m Amy, a qualified, registered and experienced cognitive-behavioural hypnotherapist. I am passionate about helping others to realise the life-changing results that can be achieved with hypnotherapy.

I work online or can meet clients face-to-face from my clinic in Chelmsford, Essex.

My academic background is in Psychology and I have spent many years in senior HR roles within professional services organisations - environments that are fast-paced, ambiguous and often stressful. I have worked with individuals, teams and leaders to put robust wellbeing strategies in place to help them thrive, despite whatever challenges they may be dealing with.

Studying Hypnotherapy was a natural choice for me – it changed my own life. I had lived ‘successfully’ for many years with an intense phobia of tube trains (I had developed quite elaborate ways of avoiding them!). However, I knew it was time to do something when my fear started generalising to other confined spaces – lifts, planes and even overground trains. I sought the help of a hypnotherapist and within a short space of time, I mastered control over my fears to the extent I was able to travel on a tube during rush hour without any anxiety. That in turn opened so many opportunities in terms of where I worked, lived and socialised and I realised just how much I had been limiting myself.

I now love guiding others to these same lightbulb moments, helping them gain the confidence and skills to overcome their issues and change their lives.
